Nicole Arrington will be contacting you via your Bennington email accounts regarding Commencement. Commencement will take place June 3–4: Friday’s events will include a senior dance performance, graduation concert, and the senior art exhibition in Usdan Gallery; the Commencement Dinner will begin at 6:00 pm. The dinner includes addresses by the senior class speaker, Kieran Najita, and the commencement speaker Jane Chu, Chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts. The senior party will take place at 9:00 pm the same evening. The conferring of degrees will be held on Saturday morning at 10:00 am. If your family has not booked rooms for Commencement Weekend, they should do so soon, as this time of year is a busy one for local hotels and restaurants. The Provost and Dean’s Office will be sending out Intent to Graduate forms to seniors graduating in June. All other commencement-related information will come from Nicole Arrington in the Office of Communications.
