“…This is your hand, these are my hands, this is the world, / which is round but not flat and has more colors / than we can see. /  It begins, It has an end, / this is what you will / come back to, this is your hand.”

April 9, 2012

Hello Everyone,

I am always fascinated by the amazing activities that are regular happenings at Bennington College. I just now received notice of the following:

The Water Dialogues, which kicks off on Monday, April 16, is a weeklong program of lectures, panel discussions, and workshops centered on the complex issues of water—as a limited resource, as a basic necessity, and as a source of geo-political conflict and natural disaster—on local, regional, and global scales. Sure makes me want to be on campus. The reading list alone is inspiring. Have a look!

Do not hit reply to send your new updates. Continue to send me notices at the address below. Also Bennington has a new system to delete spam. If you don’t see your entry, please send again. It may not have cleared.

Thank you for your contributions and all your good work.

Contact me at emcferron@bennington.edu. I look forward to hearing from you.

With warm wishes,

Elaine
