Michael DelPrete, Bass
A professional bassist since 16, DelPrete has worked as a sideman with many musicians, including Ed Mann (Frank Zappa), Ralph La Lama, Chuck D'Aloia, Ray Vega (Tito Puente), John Esposito, David Calarco, Jimmy Madison, and Jeanne O'Connor. His work with the Brian Patneaude Quartet has been reviewed in Jazzwise Magazine (UK), Jazz and Tzaz (Greece) and featured on many public radio stations. He teaches a number of private students weekly and offers guitar and bass instruction at the National Guitar Workshop during the summer. He has also worked as a bassist/actor at Capital Repertory Theater in Albany, NY. BA, Skidmore College; MFA, Bennington College. He has taught at Bennington since 2004.
