Wayne H. Hoffmann-Ogier, Expository Writing Instructor
Hoffmann-Ogier has published scholarly essays, including Dragonflight: Chinese Calligraphy and the Mystical Spirit of Taoism and Cutting the Crystal: The Spiritual Dimensions of the Creative Process, both in Studia Mystica. He has also published poetry in various journals, including Virtual Image, Windchimes, Anthology of Western World Haiku Society, Modern Haiku, Geppo Haiku Journal, Haiku Quarterly, and Studia Mystica. He won the Haibun of the Year Award in 1982 for the Western World Haiku Society. He has publications and exhibitions of photography and Chinese calligraphy in Down East, Studia Mystica, Bennington Peach Center Gallery, and Putnam Hospital Corridor Gallery. He was Managing Editor and Writer for the Forum for Liberal Education, Association of American Colleges, Washington, DC. and previously taught at Montgomery College and the Universities of Maine and New Hampshire.
