Paul Matteson, dance guest artist
Matteson was a member of David Dorfman Dance from 2000-05, receiving a New York Dance and Performance Award (Bessie) in 2002 for performance. He has also worked with Race Dance, Peter Schmitz, Creach/Company, Chamecki/Lerner, Jamie Cunningham, and Keith Johnson, among others. He is on faculty at The American Dance Festival and has been a guest artist at Middlebury College, Rhode Island College, The University of Utah, Hollins University, Brigham Young University, Kook Min University in Korea, and North Carolina School of the Arts. His work has been shown in various New York City venues including The Thalia Theater at Symphony Space, Dance Theater Workshop, and Danspace Project/St. Mark’s Church. BA, Middlebury College. He completed his MFA at Bennington in the spring of 2007 and returns as dance guest artist for Fall Term 2007.
