Preston Noon, Digital Arts Technician


Through the use of video and sound, Noon’s work surveys the boundaries between nature and technology. A recent graduate of the Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) at New York University, he has most recently worked as a technology consultant for artists in Soho and for start-ups in the West Village. Prior to his time in Manhattan, he built a cabin on his parents’ organic sheep farm in Maine while writing a book and commuting to NYC as a freelance writer for FluidNYC Magazine. He has been a professional copywriter for the past eight years working in corporate branding, marketing, and consulting. BA, University of Maine in English/Art History; MPS, NYU Interactive Telecommunications Program. He joined the Visual Arts Program at Bennington as digital arts technician in the fall of 2007.
