Robert Page, Mathematics
With research focused in the realm of functional analysis, Page has had articles published in the scholarly journals Quaestiones Mathematicae and Positivity. In addition, his work on ordered algebraic structures has been presented at international conferences in 2003 and 2005. His research interests include positive operators, bilinear maps on products of partially ordered vector spaces, Banach lattices, and the history of mathematics. Page has taught mathematics at South Panola High School in Batesville, Mississippi, and at the University of Mississippi where he received the T.A. Bickerstaff Memorial Award in Mathematics in 1996. He received his BS, MS, and a PhD from the University of Mississippi. He will be a visiting faculty at Bennington in fall 2005 and spring 2006.
