Ann Pibal, Painting
Pibal has exhibited her paintings and drawings at many venues including PS1/MoMA, Jessica Murray Projects NYC, Paula Cooper Gallery (upcoming), Bernard Toale Gallery, The Tang Museum, MASS MoCA, the Albright-Knox Art Museum, the Adam Baumgold Gallery, The Drawing Center, Pierogi, and HallWalls. She has been awarded artist residencies at The MacDowell Colony, Yaddo, UCROSS, and Le Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris. She has been a recipient of a Saltonstall Foundation Grant. Pibal was on the faculty at the School of Art and Design at Alfred from 1995-98. BA, St. Olaf College, Minnesota; MA and MFA, University of Iowa. She has taught at Bennington since 1998.
