Mark Wunderlich, Literature


Wunderlich is a poet and the author of, most recently, Voluntary Servitude. His first book, The Anchorage, received the Lambda Literary Award. He is the recipient of the Amy Lowell Traveling Fellowship, a Wallace Stegner Fellowship from Stanford University, and two fellowships from the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, MA. Poems, essays, reviews, and interviews have appeared in The Paris Review, Boston Review, Slate, and The New England Review. He has taught at Stanford University, Barnard College, and in the graduate writing programs at Sarah Lawrence College, Ohio University, and San Francisco State University. He currently serves as Poetry Editor of The Nebraska Review and as the host and producer of a nationally distributed radio program of author interviews. BA, University of Wisconsin-Madison; MFA, Columbia University School of the Arts. He has taught at Bennington since 2004.
