Early Entrants

Qualified students who would like to enter Bennington before completing high school may apply for early entrance. Early entrants need to demonstrate—in their transcripts, essays, interviews, and recommendations—their capacity to begin college early. After the successful completion of their first year at Bennington, early entrants may request a high school diploma from their high school or a G.E.D. from their home state. Deadlines for early entrance are the same as those for regular decision.

Early entrants who desire financial aid must receive a passing score on a federally approved “ability to benefit” test (the SAT and ACT do not qualify). Contact the Admissions Office for more information.
