How to Apply

Postbaccalaureate and Graduate Students

Financial assistance for postbaccalaureate and graduate students who are U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens is available in the form of federal Stafford loans. Any student interested in applying for financial aid must submit the following as early as possible (see deadlines). All but the tax returns can be completed online and are accessible through My Financial Aid.

Postbaccalaureate students who answer “no” to all FAFSA dependency questions (are dependent) must supply parent information on the FAFSA. One parent of a dependent postbaccalaureate student should request his/her own PIN for the required “parent signature” on the FAFSA.

  • Bennington College Financial Aid Application
  • 2007 Federal Income Tax Return(s), signed, including tax schedules and W-2s. Tax returns and W-2s are needed from both the student and, if applicable, his or her spouse. Postbaccalaureate applicants who are dependent (per the guidelines on the FAFSA) must also submit their parents’ 2007 tax returns and W-2s.
