Jim Cairl '98
Jim Cairl '97 has worked as an actor, director, and playwright in and around New York for the past 20 years. He recently performed in the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival production of Our Town, as Dr. Gibbs, and at the Midtown International Theater Festival in the original production Himmelreich. Prior to that he directed Becoming Frankenstein (by Natalie Osborne '15) and Death of a Salesman. His one-act play Madame Tellier was performed at the Theater for the New City's Dream Up! Festival. Jim has worked with Inverse Theater, Myriad Arts, and The Kiva Company. He won on the television quiz show Jeopardy!
He is married to Victoria Cairl '99, and they live in Westchester in a messy house with their three children—but not four children, because Vic said I would have to win the lottery for that to happen.
