Tenara Calem ’15
Tenara Calem ’15 is a playwright/performer/creator living in Philadelphia, PA. She has had the pleasure of working with a number of theaters across the country in several different capacities, including Columbus Civic Theater, Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, Target Margin Theater Company, Trinity Repertory Company, Horizon Theatre Company, Pig Iron Theatre Company, and Lightning Rod Special. Israeli-born and Ohio-raised, Tenara was last seen onstage as Lady Capulet in Trinity Rep and Rhode Island Latino Arts' production of Romeo y Juliet. Her acting work has also taken her abroad to Dresden, Germany with Theater Junge Generation. Tenara's written work includes Aviva in October, FAIRY TALE, The Willow, Summer of Date Palms, Getting Gone, and, coming this summer, Me, More Normal at ArtChurch in West Philadelphia. She is a 2015 grad from Bennington, where she studied drama and political policy.
