Jonah Nigro is a visual artist and creative director at Utami where he works on audio-visual software for real-time art creation. His personal and professional projects, working with clients including Perrier and MTV, span multiple disciplines including illustration, animation, digital fabrication, and interactive design. Nigro’s commercial work has been featured in TV spots, subway ads, billboards, sponsored content, and clothing design. His designs and animations employ vibrant colors, vintage imagery, and fluid movement to explore the themes of surrealism, interaction, sensation, and popsicles. Some of these will be shown in the first Paris exhibition of animated GIFS, a public art project, in summer 2016. His work has been featured in The Washington Post, Variety, Mashable, and the Observer.
