Mitch Markowitz is a screenwriter best known for writing the film Good Morning, Vietnam, which earned an Oscar for its star, Robin Williams. He also wrote the movie Crazy People, and for television shows including M*A*S*H, Van Dyke and Company, Monk, and Too Close for Comfort. He is the creator of the Canadian cult classic show Hilarious House of Frankenstein.
