OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | Join us in welcoming Brian Donahue from Brandeis University to discuss the challenges presented in the visions of New England’s active stewardship of the landscape, and especially the potential agricultural expansion. His presentation is titled: Sustainable Working Landscapes: Challenges and Opportunities for Biodiversity, Water Quality, and Carbon Sequestration.

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | This will be a brief introduction to Chinese Classical Dance, which emphasizes aesthetic integration of ‘ancient Chinese dances’ with “opera dances” and “traditional martial arts.”

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | Drama at Bennington and CAPA present an original play by Connie Winston and Jean Randich, inspired by the life of Lena Baker, the first and only woman sentenced to the electric chair in the state of Georgia.

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | Composer Evan Williams presents a recital of acoustic and electronic music including collaborations with visiting pianist Sarah Puckett, and dancer Stuart Shugg. Williams will also present the world premiere of his new electronic score to Georges Méliès 1904 silent film, The Impossible Voyage.

The College will be screening Raoul Peck’s Oscar-nominated documentary "I Am Not Your Negro" for College community members on Sunday, March 19, at 8:00 PM, at Images Cinema in Williamstown.
