Developmental Psychology Candidate Presentation: Tarryn McGhie, PhD

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | Developmental Psychology candidate Tarryn McGhie, PhD will give a presentation titled "Bridging Community and School Cultures Using Theory to Practice Pedagogies." This presentation will discuss how providing hands on curricular and pedagogical opportunities for teacher education students within communities impacts academic outcomes for the teacher education students, k-12 students, and the communities they represent. Additionally, this presentation will describe how research, teaching, and community service inform each other and can be used to better serve and improve academic, economical, and social outcomes of communities.
