OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | Brazilian-born, NY-based choreographers and filmmakers Rosane Chamecki and Andrea Lerner, together called chameckilerner, present Eskasizer. The 1950’s Eskasizer belt machine was one of the first electric machines that promised to firm our bodies. In Eskasizer, chameckilerner present four women, each with a different body shape, age, and background. The belt vibrates each body, morphing it into a landscape of moving flesh, the movement organic despite its source.

In this installation, four large screens form a room-like space with the audience seated in the center. Four performances in Martha Hill 9/22 at 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM and again on 9/23 at 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
