Family Bed

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | Please join Rebecca Brooks, MFA Research Fellow in Dance, for an intimate studio showing of her work-in-process entitled Family Bed. Research for this piece began in Fall 2016, and earlier versions have been performed at Bennington, as well as at Roulette in Brooklyn and Pieter Space in Los Angeles. Rebecca’s work as a student in Elisa Albert’s Towards a Postmodern Matriarchy and Camille Guthrie’s Scriptorium: The Body In Society, has contributed to the research for this piece. Rebecca will be joined in performance by students in her current Performance Project course Why Dance Now?.
