McCullough Free Library are hosting their twelfth annual Book & Bake sale Saturday, September 9th 9:00AM- 4:00PM and Sunday, September 10th 10:00- 4:00. This sale boasts a large selection of high quality books at extremely low prices ($0.50- $2.00 each), rare and antiquarian books, select library furnishings and more. The Bake Sale boasts a wide variety of delicious homemade treats. Tickets for our fabulous “Winter in Vermont” raffle basket, featuring items from Vermont retailers and manufacturers including Orvis, Dion Snowshoes, Bennington Potters, Darn Tough Socks and many others, will be available as well.

Volunteer Opportunity: The Friends of the Library are also looking for strong folks to help bring hundreds of (heavy!) boxes up from the library’s basement to our sale tent on Tuesday, September 5th from 3:00- 5:00. This task is daunting and difficult for some members of the Friends, who work very hard the week before the event to set up the books for the Book & Bake sale. All proceeds from the sale directly fund library programs, services and materials. If you’re interested in this volunteer opportunity, please contact Jennie Rozycki, the McCullough Library’s Director at 802.447.7121 or at mclibrary@comcast.net.
