Megan Marshall, author of three biographical works including Elizabeth Bishop: A Miracle for Breakfast, will give a Master Class on literary biography as part of the Literature Evenings series. Megan Marshall is a Pulitzer Prize-winning biographer whose works include Margaret Fuller: A New American Life (Houghton Mifflin, 2014), The Peabody Sisters: Three Women Who Ignited American Romanticism (Houghton Mifflin, 2005; Mariner Books, 2006) and now Elizabeth Bishop: A Miracle for Breakfast (Houghton Mifflin, 2017). She teaches nonfiction writing and archival research in the MFA program at Emerson College, where she has been named the first Charles Wesley Emerson College Professor.
