East Academic Center, Classroom 1 Bennington College

FACULTY AND STAFF | In our diet-obsessed culture, answering the question, “what should I eat?” can feel impossible. But, it doesn’t need to be so hard! The reality is you don’t need a set of food rules to dictate your decisions about what, when, or how much to eat to support or improve your health. In fact, to the contrary, focusing on finding the perfect diet may actually be sabotaging your efforts to eat in a way that honors your body and your health.

In this session led by Dana Notte you will learn:

  • Why diets don’t work and how to become your own authority on decisions about food;
  • All about mindful eating and how it can pave the way toward transforming your relationship with food;
  • Several strategies to help you ditch the diet, shift your focus from weight loss to overall well-being, and establish an eating practice you’ll thrive on.
