  • Several Bennington alumni are involved a new play, Knickerbocker, at the Williamstown Theatre Festival. Jonathan Marc Sherman '90 wrote the work that starts Brooks Ashmanskas '91 and Peter Dinklage '91. The set designer is Alexander Dodge '93. There will be a gathering at Mezze in Williamstown after the show on Saturday, July 18. Please email alumnirelations@bennington.edu for more details.
  • Several alumni-organized events are in the works throughout the country, including a picnic in Portland, OR and in Boston. Details to come.
  • Thank you to alumni who enjoyed reconnecting at the Washington, DC Alumni  Brunch hosted by Margot Hoerrner '91. Plans are in the works for more gatherings throughout the year!
  • Thank you to everyone who attended the dynamic Portland, OR Alumni Event co-hosted by  Harriet Moger Watson '68, Jessica Phillips Johnson '99, and Lindsay MacHose Nealon '02. Attendees met new friends and old, and spoke with Ken Himmelman, Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid, for the latest Bennington news. Click here to see photos from Portland.

  • Celebrating the Life of Rebecca B. Stickney ’43: On November 9, 2008, more than 200 people gathered on campus to pay tribute to the late, legendary Pioneer Rebecca B. Stickney ’43 on what would have been her 87th birthday. Guests exchanged memories in a Quaker-style gathering that included video footage of Becca during a recent oral history interview, and a recording of her singing with classmate and lifelong friend Muriel “Petie” Palmer ’43.   • NEW Alumni Events Calendar: Do you want to find an alumni play, lecture, performance, or opening in your area? Or do you have an event of your own to share? You can learn about alumni events taking place all over the country, and post your own, through the Alumni Events Calendar.
  • Who Are The Next Pioneers? Bennington's Next Pioneers are a dynamic group of supporters from the '80s, '90s, and '00s, whose involvement and leadership gifts set the standard for fellow alumni. The College's original Pioneers, alumni from the '30s and '40s, provide the largest portion of private support and comprise the greatest percentage of alumni donors by far. With many of these earliest graduates turning 93 this year, who will continue to ensure Bennington's permanence for current and future generations? That's where we come in. Learn more.
