The Next Pioneers

The Bennington College Next Pioneers are members of the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s, who are dedicated to helping maintain the educational excellence and integrity of the College through their participation in the Elizabeth J. Franklin Associates Society and/or the College’s Silo Society.

Why "Pioneers"? In the tradition of their alumni predecessors and namesake, the Next Pioneers believe strongly in the mission of the College and aim to advance Bennington’s commitment to innovation through their own involvement and investment. By joining in the alumni traditions of philanthropy and participation, this vital group seeks to provide current and future students with transformative experiences similar to those they have had—and of those who have come before them.

“I will be forever grateful to all the generations of alumni who made Bennington a reality, and I feel strongly, as an alumna, that it is my responsibility to make sure this important institution continues to give others the experience and opportunity afforded to me.”
