Relatives and friends can also send “hugs from home” treats to Bennington students through the Dining Hall. Packages include:

  • Gift certificates in $5 denominations.
  • Cookie Hug, $10: A baker's dozen of our homemade cookies with a personalized card. Let us choose the flavor. Vegan cookies available.
  • Snacker Hug, $27: Just the thing for midnight snacking—5.0 oz Madhouse Munchies Chips, one bag of Act II Microwave Popcorn, two packages of Pop Tarts, two bags of M&M’s, one Rockstar, one Snapple, one certificate to Amy's pizza, and one certificate to Ben and Jerry's, all in a basket with a personalized card.
  • Natural Hug, $36: A selection of all natural items: two Odwalla juice certificates, Terra chips, Annie’s Macaroni and Cheese mix, Kashi Cheddar Crackers, Eden Organic Spicy Pumpkin Seeds, two Luna bars, and a certificate for an Amy’s Frozen Bowl, all in a basket with a personalized card.

  • Birthday Party, $30: Let us do the work—you get the joy of surprising your student. Choice of 9” yellow or devil’s food cake with choice of white or chocolate frosting, or large vegan birthday cookie, with your special message; one Mylar “Happy Birthday” balloon, personalized birthday card, paper plates, forks, and napkins for your student and seven friends.
  • Birthday Balloon Bouquet, $10: one Mylar “Happy Birthday” balloon, four assorted color latex balloons, and a personalized birthday card.

You can also call Dining Services at 802-440-4436 and place your order using a credit card (MasterCard, Visa, and debit cards only). If you need additional information please call Dining Services at 802-440-4436 (Monday–Friday 9:00am–4:30pm EST) , or email pgallant@bennington.edu.

Your son or daughter will be notified by campus mail or email, as well as messaged through the dining hall ID system, that there is a special gift waiting in Dining Services. Dining Services is not responsible for packages not picked up. Such items are non-refundable and will be disposed of after 24 hours.
