Our Green Earth
A song by world fusion musician Derrik Jordan ’77 is included on the forthcoming album Our Green Earth, which is being released by Big Fuss Records on September 14 to bring awareness to healing the planet.
An award-winning singer-songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist, Jordan’s song “Speak Through Me” won second place overall in the USA Songwriting Competition. His song “Something’s Gonna Change” took top honors as Reggae Song of the Year from Just Plain Folks, the world’s largest songwriter organization.
Big Fuss Records called his song, “Touch The Earth,” a “welcome addition to the Our Green Earth selection of eclectic music.”
At Bennington, Jordan studied with Henry Brant, Vivian Fine, Otto Luening, and master drummer Milford Graves.
