International Scholar Speaks at Bennington College about Equal Access to Resources

Kenneth Williams, faculty member at the School for International Training in Brattleboro, will present a lecture, “Social Justice in Intercultural Relations: Ensuring Equitable Access to Resources,” as part of Bennington College’s fall Social Science Colloquium. This discussion will take place on Monday, November 28, 2005, in Barn 100, at 7:00 pm on the College’s campus.

Williams, who also serves as chair of the Social Justice in International Relations Committee, teaches Social Identity, Organizational Behavior, and Practitioner Inquiry I. His interests include leadership theory and practice, issues of social identity, organizational behavior and the "learning organization," small business development, and educational administration and restructuring.

Williams has taught and lived in the UK, Bermuda, Bangladesh, Thailand, Jamaica, and the United States, as well as in Barbados, where he founded a number of small- and medium-sized enterprises. A consultant to NGOs in Bermuda, Thailand, the United States, and Barbados, Williams is a member of Kappa Delta Pi, American Educational Research Association, and the Academy of Human Resource Development. He is completing his doctorate in organization and leadership at Columbia University.
