• This Sunday at 8:00 pm in the Deane Carriage Barn, don't miss a concert by long-time collaborators Art Lande (renowned Grammy-nominated jazz pianist and drummer) and music faculty member Bruce Williamson (sax, woodwinds). They will be joined by Johannes Weidenmueller, currently one of the most active and in-demand bassists in New York.

• Information about Commencement 2008 is now online. Graduating students, please take a moment to read the Information for Graduates, which includes a list of important dates, information on how to register for Commencement Dinner, and much more. The deadline to purchase dinner tickets is Friday, May 16!

• The Red Cross Bloodmobile is coming to campus on Tuesday, May 13th, between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm. Sign up for an appointment to donate blood in the Office of Student Life.

• On Saturday May 17th COLT will sponsor a volunteer opportunity with Habitat for Humanity. Please meet at the flagpole to carpool to the jobsite at 7:30 am. We will return to campus by 4:30 pm. Sign up in the Office of Student Life. Contact Andrew Lacasse (alacasse@bennington.edu) with any questions.

• Are you interested in working with the greater Bennington community, in raising awareness of pressing environmental, political, social and educational issues both locally and globally? Apply to be a member of the Community Outreach Leadership Team (COLT) and help connect Bennington College with the town of Bennington and beyond through organizing community service opportunities, events, speakers, conferences and information sessions on pertinent issues for the community. Applications are available in the Office of Student Life and are due back by Tuesday May 6th at 5:00 pm.

• This Saturday, May 10th, join the Outing Club for the last trip of the term: we'll be going to the Albany Indoor Rock Gym for some climbing. Plan to depart at 12:30 pm and be back in time for dinner. Stop by the Office of Student Life to sign up and pay the $10 trip fee by Friday.

• The deadline to apply to be an Orientation Assistant has been extended to Friday, May 9th. Applications are available in the Office of Student Life.
