Seher Aziz '01 is a practicing architect based in Karachi, Pakistan. She has worked for award winning firms in the UK, USA, Germany and Pakistan and started her own design practice in 2017, by the name Studio Será.
Aziz completed her undergraduate from Bennington College in 2001 and her M’Arch from Yale School of Architecture in 2006. She moved to New York City to join Robert A. M. Stern Architects, where she had the opportunity to work on various high profile projects of different scales. She was subsequently invited to Stuttgart, Germany to join Behnisch Architekten to work on the new science complex for Harvard University. In 2011 she was selected to be part of the team to design the new training facility for Manchester City Football Club in Manchester, UK, led by Rafael Vinoly Architects. Aziz returned to her hometown of Karachi, Pakistan where she has worked to carve out a unique space for herself in the design landscape of the growing metropolis and region, initially as a partner at Studio Subtractive, and in 2018 setting up her own architecture and design practice, Studio Será.
Aziz also maintains a painting studio and has been a production designer for movies and television commercials. She is a visiting faculty member at Bennington for Fall 2021.
