Drawing of Barn and words Barn Challenge

Last April, a fire significantly damaged the Barn—one of the most iconic and beloved buildings on the Bennington campus; a place that has been home to classrooms, faculty and staff offices, commencement ceremonies, and countless Bennington memories since the College’s founding.

Today, we are planning for the next chapter in the storied history of this essential Bennington space, and we are asking for your help.

Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of Bennington alumnae and trustees Penelope Perkins Wilson ’45 and Charlene Solow Schwartz ’54—who have collectively pledged $900,000 toward the restoration of the Barn—your donation will be matched dollar-for-dollar when you give today.
