Commencement Policy for Fall Graduates
STUDENT HANDBOOK: Academics and Field Work Term
Students with an anticipated fall graduation date typically participate in spring commencement activities following the completion of their degree requirements. The College recognizes that, in certain circumstances, it may be advantageous to participate in commencement activities in the spring prior to the completion of degree requirements.
Students who complete all requirements in the spring term are expected to participate in the commencement ceremony taking place at the end of that term. Students who complete their degree requirements at the completion of the fall term may request to participate in commencement activities taking place in the spring either before or after their degree completion. In order to participate in the commencement activities before degree completion, fall graduates must respond to outreach from Academic Services by December 1.
