OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | Pooh Kaye '04, the acclaimed stop-motion animator and artist presents an exhibition and performance "Impossible Events in Magic Boxes" at Greenkill, Art Gallery in Kingston, N.Y. The opening reception is on Saturday, September 1 from 5-7 Pm. The exhibition will be on view from Saturday September 1 until Saturday, September 29, Tuesday- Saturday, 3 to 9 PM.

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | Anthony Cafritz '85 opens the exhibit titled "Sliver" at the Arts Center of the Capital Region in Troy, NY. The exhibition will be on view from September 15 until October 7.

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | The MoMA presents Judson Dance Theater: "The Work Is Never Done" exhibition. The show looks at the formative moment in the 1960s when a group of choreographers, visual artists, composers, and filmmakers gathered in Judson Memorial Church, NYC, for a series of workshops that ultimately redefined what counted as dance.

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | Though working in multiple mediums, Torkwase Dyson (b. Chicago) describes herself as a painter who uses distilled geometric abstraction to create an idiosyncratic language both expressive and diagrammatic.

An outdoor walking tour and ecology lab using natural history observations to explore hypotheses about Vermont’s diverse landscape history, current function, and future.

In this session, we will share examples of student work, discuss the role of students at the Vermont State House, provide an opportunity to hear from CAPA students directly about their experiences, and share the multitude of projects and experiences that have evolved from CAPA over the past year.

How did Bennington College become the nurturing “Home of American Modern Dance” within just a few years of its founding in 1932? We will look at rare footage of dance on the College lawn from 1938, as well as excerpts from a film focused on the pioneering leadership of Martha Hill.

Every Saturday during the fall season, the Bennington Farmer's Market is open and welcomes students and families. The first 10 students receive $5 in Bennington College market bucks to use. .

President Mariko Silver will present to Gay Johnson McDougall ’69 the 2018 Elizabeth Coleman Visionary Leadership Award, followed by Ms. McDougall’s presentation, "My Pilgrimages to Understand Racism."

Tours leave every 15 minutes.
