OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | Based in California, "wind-up mice" is an art and literary journal that aims to capture whimsy in everyday life. the beauty within the mundane. We want the soft and sweet, the darkness, the light. For the next month, July 23-August 23, we are accepting submissions of poetry, art and prose for our very first issue.

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | Mary Ruefle: Erasures brings together treated books, erasures, postcard collages and various three-dimensional objects by Vermont State Poet Laureate and visual artist Mary Ruefle in her first solo exhibition of her work.

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | Join us for a Facebook live event with Vermont State Poet Laureate Mary Ruefle '74, and Mark Wunderlich, the co-curator of Mary Ruefle: Erasures, and director of the Bennington Writing Seminars. The two will discuss Mary's work as a visual artist, her strategies and techniques for making erasures, and the intersection of her visual work with the written word.
