Associate Dean of Work-Integrated Learning
Faith leads operations, strategic planning, partnership development, and academic integration for Work-Integrated Learning initiatives in Career Development, Field Work Term, and Student Employment. Faith works closely with student leadership groups around issues of inclusion and access over Field Work Term, such as grant expansion, target programs for first generation and international students, and career education on workplace equity issues. Faith also oversees field work registration, reflection, evaluation, and assessment. Faith champions a developmental model for career education based on strategies of first year engagement, life design curricula, and career advising communities for students and alumni.
Faith holds a Masters in Public and Nonprofit Administration from the NYU Wagner School and a BA in education and gender studies from Brown University. Faith holds nearly 20 years experience in nonprofit management and higher education. In the nonprofit sector, Faith co-founded a workforce development program in Brooklyn, NY, managed a social change leadership project for the Ford Foundation, and co-directed a bilingual public health research project in Latin America. In higher education, Faith helped launch a college-credit leadership development program and taught experiential education coursework at Lesley University. Faith has been at Bennington College for five years, first as Director of Field Work Term and Career Development and now as Associate Dean of Work-Integrated Learning, a role which implements strategies for enhancing learning outcomes and career satisfaction through work experience.
