OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | On April 4th at the Shaftsbury Community Hall, Rural Vermont presents its statewide tour, “Groundswell: Community Conversations about land use, livelihood, food, and the future of Vermont.” At Groundswell, Rural Vermont will share a vision and encourage dialogue about a just transition to a regenerative agriculture in Vermont that meets the needs of farmer, eater, soil, environment, and community alike. Free and open to all with light dinner, BYOB, plus live music and social time during breaks. Join Rural Vermont, local farmer host Scout Proft of Someday Farm, local sponsor Northshire Grows, and friends and neighbors for Shaftsbury's Groundswell! Bring your own place setting and help us reduce the event's impact.

The College will be providing transportation to and from the event. A van will be leaving from the flagpole at 5:15 PM and returning from the event at 8:30 PM.
