OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | Bassist Nate Query of The Decemberists gives an informal talk and Q&A about writing and recording his music, and life in the music business.

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | Nate Query is a two-time Grammy nominated bassist best known as a member of The Decemberists, touring worldwide since 2001. His is also a member of Black Prairie, Offa Rex, and the folk jam band Calobo. Nate has recorded extensively with artists in and around the Portland Scene, including Laura Veirs, Laura Gibson, and Aoife O’Donovan. He attended and dropped out of Wesleyan University.
Nate will give an informal talk and Q&A about writing and recording his music, and life in the music business.
