OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | Harvest for Kids is a community effort initiated and developed through the CAPA Food Clinic to provide Bennington families living in poverty with nutritious food during the 5-week gap in August that falls between the end of formal summer meal programs and the beginning of the school year. Organized through Greater Bennington Interfaith Community Services, the Bennington County Regional Commission, CAPA, and others, Harvest for Kids provides a platform for the community to come together to donate food or funds, or to volunteer for food preparation, transportation, and more. Visit Harvest for Kids 2017 for more information.

We also encourage participation in the Harvest for Kids Team Challenge; if you are interested in being a team leader or member, please join Susan Sgorbati in the CAPA Faculty Lounge on Thursday, July 6 at 1:00pm. If you cannot make this meeting, you can also visit the website for information or contact Michelle Marrocco at mmarrocco@bcrcvt.org.
