David Anderegg, Psychology
An experienced psychotherapist with an active interest in professional and popular writing, Anderegg spends his time doing, teaching, and writing about psychoanalytic psychotherapy with children and adults. His scholarly articles about play and creativity in psychotherapy have appeared in Psychoanalytic Psychology, Psychoanalysis and Contemporary Thought, and Psychologist Psychoanalyst. He currently serves on the editorial board of Psychoanalytic Psychology. His first book for the wider public, Worried All the Time, appeared in 2003, and his op-ed pieces on topics related to children have appeared in the Los Angeles Times, the Miami Herald, Newsday, and other newspapers across the country. He has taught at Harvard Medical School, Tufts University, and the Smith College School for Social Work.
