Welcome Spouses and Partners

Bennington College is a member of the Plus One Network, a network for spouses/partners affiliated with educational institutions throughout the region. 

The Plus One Network is made available to employees’ spouses and partners free of charge. As part of our commitment to supporting the needs of dual-career couples, your spouse/partner can access the Plus One Network’s online community platform to:

  • Identify opportunities for in-person and remote professional positions, volunteer roles, and research collaborations.
  • Promote their qualifications. Spouses/partners can post their resume/CV and add more details about their experience and background.
  • Build career skills. Spouses/Partners are invited to participate in webinars, workshops, and speakers on careers, identity, and other related topics.
  • Connect with other dual-career couples. Private groups are formed around common identities and affiliations.
  • Find relocation tools. The platform includes a growing bank of resources for couples moving to a new campus or community.
