Utsphūrta in Marathi is spontaneous. It's a quality Surabhee would like to invoke as a blessing for her junior concert.

Utsphūrta is a concert of exploration in Hindustani Classical vocal khayal music which Surabhee inherited from her father and elders. She will sing traditional compositions passed down to me from her gurus. Rāga, as Surabhee understands it, is the gradual revealing, a slow coloring in of a mood, a universe being painted with notes.
