Crossett's Long Weekend Hours
During Long Weekend, Crossett will be open:
- Friday, 8am - 8pm
- Saturday, 10am - 8pm
- Sunday, 10am - 12am
- Monday, 8am - 12am
Crossett's term hours are:
- Sunday, 10am - Midnight
- Monday - Thursdays, 8am - Midnight
- Friday, 8am - 10pm
- Saturday, 10am - 10pm
Crossett Library's late night study rooms are available when Crossett is closed, and accessible via the exterior stairwell on the side of the building.
On Display At Crossett
Crossett's display case contains a small selection of what you might encounter in the Bennington College Archives. These archives hold many primary source materials such as scrapbooks, ephemera, and personal artifacts from community members, and a vast amount has been digitized and is available in our Digital Repository.
The New York Times
Crossett Library now provides free online access to The New York Times for the Bennington College community. Individuals must set up an account to access.
- Navigate to www.accessnyt.com
- Search for and select "Bennington College – Bennington, VT" You will be redirected to the NYT registration page.
- Click "Create Account" and complete fields; you must use your (username@bennington.edu) email address. If you have previously registered your bennington.edu email address on The New York Times site, you will click the "Already have an account? Log in here" link.
- Verify your account (you will receive a confirmation email)
