OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AND AVAILABLE TO STREAM | Jennifer Grotz and Taymour Soomro will read as part of the Writers Reading series.

Jennifer is the author of four books of poetry, most recently Still Falling, as well as Window Left Open, The Needle, and Cusp. Her co-translations with Piotr Sommer from the Polish of Jerzy Ficowski's Everything I Don't Know received the PEN America Best Translated Book of Poetry Award in 2022. Director of the Bread Loaf Writers' Conferences, she teaches poetry and translation at the University of Rochester.

Taymour is the author of Other Names for Love and co-editor of Letters to a Writer of Color. His writing has been published in The New Yorker, the New York Times and elsewhere. He is the recipient of fellowships from the Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing, Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference and the Sozopol Fiction Seminars. He has degrees from Cambridge University and Stanford Law School and a PhD in creative writing from the University of East Anglia.
