Poetry Workshop and Open Mic

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | Start your term off right with the wildest, most unhinged adventure of all: introspection! Join visiting poets for a guided writing workshop, an open mic cypher, sharing, and snacks. Workshop starts at 4:00 pm; open mic starts at 6:00 pm. Join us for either or both!
Alum April Patrick '96 joins forces with the inimitable gripp to present a dynamic, generative poetry workshop and open mic reading. Spreading their passion for powerful creative self-expression, April, a former public school and community college teacher, and gripp, a former computer programmer, met while acting and singing in Scrooge in Rouge, 12 Angry Jurors, and The Florist, and April was honored to play Mum in gripp's original play, The Turkey is Fine at Bennington Theater. Please come out and support this free, grassroots, community-enhancing experience.
