OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AND LIVE STREAMING | Rick Barot and Stacey D’Erasmo will read from their recent books as part of the Writers Reading series.
Rick Barot’s most recent book of poems is Moving the Bones, published by Milkweed Editions. His previous collection, The Galleons, was longlisted for the National Book Award. His work has appeared in numerous publications, including Poetry, The Adroit Journal, and The New Yorker. He has received fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, and Stanford University. He lives in Tacoma, Washington, and directs the MFA program at Pacific Lutheran University.
Stacey D’Erasmo is the author of the novels Tea, A Seahorse Year, The Sky Below, Wonderland, and The Complicities; and the nonfiction books The Art of Intimacy: The Space Between and The Long Run: A Creative Inquiry. She is a former Stegner Fellow in Fiction, the recipient of a 2009 Guggenheim Fellowship in Fiction, and the winner of an Outstanding Mid-Career Novelist Prize from the Lambda Literary Foundation. She is Professor of Writing and Publishing Practices at Fordham University.
