Introduction to First-Year Forum 2026

You’re invited to join Alex Creighton, writing faculty and Lil' Montevecchi, FYF student co-leader for the First Year Forum (FYF) Virtual Roundtable! A core principle at Bennington is the notion of self-directed learning—that is, figuring out what drives you and how to pursue your passion with rigor and care. Finding one's passion begins from learning how to ask questions about the world around you and about your own work. In this workshop, we will practice the art of asking questions—the first step on your journey into academic life at Bennington.
