OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | A staged reading of Soumya Rachel Shailendra's translation of Dharamvir Bharati's Hindi play, Andha Yug. The performance features Sitashma Parajuli, Maya Razvi, David Guzman, Zo Williams, Elbunit Kqiu, Adriel Munoz Saba, Ahwar Sultan, Manya Kochhar, Muhammad Ammar, Akanchya Maskay, Elinor Phillips, Joe Larse, and Asa Lowengard.

Dharamvir Bharati's Andha Yug is a dramatic rendition of the last book of the Sanskrit epic, Mahabharat. In line with the Nayi Kavita aesthetics, Bharati uses lyrical prose to question the legitimacy of violence and honor in the time of war.
