OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | Reflections on the Black Music Division reflects on artists of color who have performed, lectured, or studied at Bennington College. This exhibition and event series is curated by the students of Michael Wimberly's Spring 2019 Black Music Division class.

Explore the contributions of Bill Dixon, Jimmy Garrison, Milford Graves, and many others who were members of the Music faculty from 1968-1984 and beyond. View historic photos of dancers including Ulysses Dove, Gus Solomon, and Sandra Burton. Experience events, images, and artifacts offering insight into the black experience.
