OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | In this workshop, we study black feminist authors who write about the body as (mis)understood within medical spaces. We integrate a holistic approach to our considerations of the self, starting with external perception of embodied experience through our interrogation of our own medical records. We then extend to interweave narrative complexities through interrogation of science, personal narrative, historical and familial relationships, and dream practices.

Hosted by The Hispanic Student Union, The Black Student Union, and The Programming and Activity Council.
