Closing Reception for "Vital Curiosity"

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | A closing reception for "Vital Curiosity" featuring an improv set by cornetist and composer Taylor Ho Bynum, the newly appointed director of the Barbary Coast Jazz Ensemble at Dartmouth, and Bennington visiting faculty and percussionist Brian Chase. The performance will begin at 7:00 PM and last one half hour. Their performance will complement shared “improv” traditions in jazz and abstract painting and celebrate cross-disciplinary traditions at Bennington generally and between visual art and music. Refreshments will be served.
