About the Author: After an Emergency Medicine Residency in Chicago, Colleen E. Kelley, MD moved to Southwestern Vermont in 1992 with her husband and three small children. Twenty-nine years later, they still reside in VT. Colleen is an ER physician at Southwestern Medical Center and also works in the Military as a Colonel (O6) with the Air Force Reserves, and currently serves as the commander of a 155+ Reserve Medical Squadron in Ohio. Colleen believes in supporting our community and the people who live here—helping people who are also helping people.
 
About the book: Covid Schmovid is a children's picture book that validates children's feelings in an easy-to-read to and with children format that explains how to stay safe in their daily lives and continue to keep the Coronavirus at bay.
 
All profits from the book will be shared with the Vermont Food Bank and with GBICS (the Greater Bennington Interfaith Community Services).
